The 6th China Vending & Kiosk Show 2009 was held successfully at June 22 to June 24, 2009 at Shanghai Mart Exhibition Center. 52 exhibitors including 17 oversea companies exhibited with their latest products and technologies.

Affected by the worldwide economic downturn and H1N1, the number of exhibitors (52) did not see a huge increase than that of last show (48). But the growth in number of visitors made us confident about the future of this industry as well as our show. Nearly 7800 professionals visited this three-day show, that's about a 40% growth! Numerous leads were created, and 24 companies booked their booths for our 2010 show before the end .

Intelligentized Vending & Kiosk Summit was held in conjunction with the show. These year's conferences focused on what morden methods, especially fast developing wireless communication technologies can do to vending machines and kiosk systems and let them be more intelligent in security, maintenance, ways of payment and value-added services. About 200 application experts, leaders in this industry and service providers joined the summit actively, ideas were exchanged and some common difficulties were discussed.

World Expo will be held in Shanghai in the year of 2010. At that time, all the eyes will be turned to China, and huge amount of people will visit Shanghai. This, obviously gives China's self service industry a big opportunity as well as challenge.
